George Bootle
Writer, Actor
(he/him/his)
Writer | Actor | Engraver
Since a career in engraving, George has gone on to move to the capital, study acting and pursue his passion for writing. He says:
“Creative energy could be likened to a prolonged sneeze that needs be released at any appropriate opportunity. Gladly, the craft of writing is a very transportable creative outlet, able to be administered at almost any place and time.” This is why George writes; but why plays? He also says:
“Scripts have all the content of a thrilling novel with only the best bits left in: plot, drama, and context are condensed, whilst elaborative dialogue, and endless description can be dispensed with, leaving us with what could be thought of as the producers' manual - clean, efficient, and engineered to open up worlds of imagination.
