Lukas Rimkus is a Lithuanian actor and director based in London. He trained as an actor at London School of Dramatic Art (2021-2022) and holds a BA(Hons) Film and Drama from Anglia Ruskin University (2017-2020).


Since graduating Lukas has worked on several theatre shows as an assistant director and a technical creative.

Star-Cross’d is his first directorial debut on London stage. 


Assistant director credits include: Cannibals (LSDA, dir. Wiebke Green), September (The Space; The Calder Bookshop and Theatre, dir. Tereza Briggs-Novaes). 


Some of his acting credits include: Image of an Unknown Young Woman (Union Theatre, dir. Samantha Robinson), September (The Space; The Calder Bookshop & Theatre, dir. Tereza Briggs-Novaes), The Second Woman (The Young Vic), Breathing Corpses (Drayton Arms Theatre, dir. Jason Lawson). 


During the BA course in Cambridge School of Creative Industries, Lukas has also gained creative technical and new media skills applied in theatre such as lighting, sound, projection mapping, filmmaking and stage management. His most recent work was creating animation projections on The Trial of Jemmy Button (The Calder Bookshop & Theatre, dir. Luis Gayol).
